Hi, I’m Lucie! I grew up in small-town South Carolina, where family, food, and togetherness shaped my love of connection. Travel wasn’t glamorous then. It was beach trips and backyard grills, but those experiences taught me that the best memories are made around a shared table.
My career began in corporate recruiting, where I traveled across the country and discovered the joy of exploring places through food. Later, marrying into the restaurant and wine world refined that curiosity into passion. I became the planner — finding the hidden gems, the perfect tables, and the experiences that turn a trip into a story.
After moving to Charleston, I raised my children to see food and travel as windows into culture — never ordering off the kids' menu and always trying something new. Now, with my children grown, I've turned my lifelong love for culinary exploration into Lucie’s Travel Design — a luxury travel consultancy crafting wine and food journeys for the curious and the discerning.
